Special Areas
Music, art, and physical education play a vital role in the development of children from kindergarten through 3rd grade. These subjects support cognitive, emotional, and physical growth by engaging different areas of the brain and encouraging creative expression, social interaction, and motor skills development. Music helps children develop auditory skills, rhythm, and memory, while art nurtures imagination, problem-solving abilities, and fine motor coordination. Physical education promotes health, coordination, teamwork, and discipline, laying the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of physical activity. Together, these subjects enrich the core academic curriculum and contribute to well-rounded, confident, and capable learners.
